Terms of Service

1. The service
Silhou provides AI-generated virtual try-on images for products sold on Shopify stores, plus related tools such as lookbooks and Silhou profiles. These terms are between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME].
2. AI-generated previews
Try-on images are generated by AI. They are previews, not photographs, and may not exactly show a product’s fit, size, color or appearance. Stores remain responsible for their product information, and shoppers should rely on the store’s product details when buying.
3. Shoppers
- Only upload photos of yourself, or photos you have permission to use. Don’t upload photos of children or photos you don’t have the right to share.
- Don’t use Silhou to create misleading, sexual, harassing or unlawful images, or to impersonate anyone.
- If you tick the sharing box, you give the store a license to use that generated look in its lookbooks and marketing. You can ask the store to remove it at any time.
4. Merchants
- You’re responsible for having the rights to the product images you use with Silhou, and for your own privacy notices to your customers.
- Use shared looks only as the shopper agreed: in your lookbooks and marketing. Remove a look if the shopper asks.
- Fees are billed through Shopify under the plan you choose in the app. [PRICING AND REFUND TERMS]
- You may uninstall at any time. We delete your store’s data as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to overload, reverse engineer, bypass limits or access other stores’ data. We may suspend access that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk.
6. Intellectual property
Silhou, its software, name, mark and wordmark belong to us. You keep your rights in the photos you provide and your product content.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. [JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC TERMS]
